![]() ![]() Now, let’s learn how to add behaviors to our character so that it can move! If you go to Library > Actors we can find all of our actors. To do that hover the actor over the scene and then click on the scene to drop your actor onto it. Now that you have the actor selected, you can add it to the scene. Select the actor that will be your main character, the actor that you’ll be moving around the screen. In this new menu we’ll find all of our current actors. To add an actor to the scene, we’ll obviously want to hit actor. In the palette, on the right-hand side, we can find two different menus, tiles and actors. ![]() What we’ll want to do at this point is to add our actor to the scene. When we do either one of those we can now edit the scene. Once there we can select a previously existing scene, or we can create a completely new one. To actually place the actor on the scene we have to go to our “Game Center” tab and go to Library > Scenes. If you want you can use Pencyl to create your own art for your game, but that is for a later tutorial! Let’s first place the actor on the scene.
